The guy translating this has been taking a break for about 6 months, so I’m stepping in. They left off in the middle of volume 7 (6/11 chapters) and volume 10 is out, so there’s plenty of backlog (35 chapters or so)

    ps. I’m curious if in this chapter, when they say “judo” it should be”jiu-jitsu” instead. I do not know japanese, but in raw scanlation, in dialogs i think there is “sign” for jiu-jitsu not judo.

      I’ll definitely check that. The kanji used means Judo (according to WWWJDIC) and I figured since it’s set in Japan, Judo would be prevalent. The chapter talks about how japan has all these accidental deaths and injuries, which would be something endemic to a native art that people take too seriously rather than an imported martial art.

      On the other hand, she says she’s entering the galo weight class, and that seems to be a jiu-jitsu weight class name. On the other other hand, it wouldn’t be strange for a judo practitioner to enter a jiu-jitsu tournament.

        Wait, what’s this about either one being imported?

        So, which kanji was used? “柔術”? “柔道”?

          obviously i can “translate” words like judo and jiujitsu correctly because… they’re japanese words
          in hindsight i don’t know why i gave a long response to such a stupid question.

          I said “imported” because I was thinking Brazilian Jiujitsu, but yeah, wasn’t thinking on that one.

    Good luck with the project. Cleaning’s quite good, typesetting fonts could use some work though.
    Also, my eye caught a box to erase text not in a bubble. If a redrawer ever comes your way, that’s what they’re for.

    But regardless, it’s great to see the project back in track!

      I think that was your imagination, nothing in the chapter needed a redraw. I’m too anal to go around erasing parts of the drawings, but not anal enough to adjust all the images to make them level and square.

    Do you have any plans for other titles (crosses fingers for Ran to Haiiro no Sekai)?

      I started working on Teppu too. Never heard of that series and I’d like to catch up on Meguru and Teppu before taking up anything else, if I do at all. Only doing these two because they’re a couple of my favorites and they’ve been neglected badly.

        ((Well to be honest, I wanted to typeset Ran to Haiiro. Ran is also behind by around 300 days but since I couldn’t find a translator and school got busy, I gave up.))

      The Kotonoha guy told me they’re still doing it. Apparently they’ve got the translating part done for this next volume.
      I offered to help with/do everything except translating but haven’t heard back after that.

      I won’t be, but the Silent-sky guy told me they found someone to translate so they should start releasing chapters at some point.
